Welcome to DCBC
Diamond Creek Bowling Club is one of the most successful lawn bowling clubs in the Diamond Valley area, Melbourne, Victoria, with a proud history of 45 years. The Club has two excellent synthetic greens that allows all-year bowling. New members are most welcome and are encouraged to participate in the free coaching lessons with experienced and qualified instructors. The Club facilities are first rate and coupled with our friendly management and membership makes Diamond Creek a great club.

RIP - Frank McQueen
1933-2009

Not only friend, team mate, top bowler, confidant, but also Club Champion (2000-2001), Mens President (1999-2002), Entertainer & Floor Caller for Bingo at the club for 11 years, VFL Boundary Umpire for many years, CFA Firefighter for Plenty, and above all "A Bloody Good Guy".
Frank worked as an MCC Building Inspector, was interested in horse racing, volunteered to help Jockey's and helped with correct weight. He was also involved in the Masonic Lodge, Probus and Sutherland Homes. And he was known to be a keen gardener.
Frank McQueen has passed away leaving a big hole at the Diamond Creek Bowling Club. He was a top bowler in our number one side. He is one of the few Diamond Creek bowlers to bowl for Diamond Creek in Division 1.
His mother Ella set the scene, being on the Match Committee and holding executive positions within the club. She is remembered by the Ella McQueen Trophy for the Ladies 100UP. Frank's wife June was also very active at the club, as Secretary 1997-2000, and Ladies President 2002-2005 as well as a coach. Frank has missed June greatly since she passed away in April 2008, and has now joined June at the Bowling Club in the sky. RIP.
