| A Special
Welcome to New Members:
Welcome
to Diamond Creek Bowling Club, a club with much history, bowling
achievements and friendship, is situated in a quiet & scenic setting
with good parking and close to the railway station and shopping centre.
Lawn bowls is a challenging and
enjoyable sport, suitable for all ages and both genders. We have
husbands & wives, fathers and sons, all enjoying a great sport at a well
equipped club.
At Diamond Creek we have
synthetic greens which means that you can bowl 12 months of the year,
unlike clubs with grass greens that are usually closed 4 months of the
year. This means better value for members.
Types of membership
New bowlers
For the new bowler who has not
bowled before, membership fees are waived for the first year. This means
that you can enjoy all the facilities of the club without paying
membership fees. We know that after you have had lessons that you can
then concentrate on purchasing bowls and clothing during your first
year. If you decide to play pennant then the appropriate affiliation
fees are required to be paid, but these are relatively low cost.
Sets of club bowls may be borrowed at no cost.
